The food was fantastic, and beyond what I was expecting. The Carciofi Dip (warmed artichoke dip & crusty bread) for an entree is to die for - highly recommended. The Lamb Stack was so nicely presented, and beautifully cooked. Great choice of restaurant for our wedding anniversary!
Wish I could give zero! Booked for 7.15pm for my partner’s birthday, we walked in at around 7.25pm by the time we found a park. Our table was not ready yet so they asked us to sit at the bar while they cleared the table. They offered us a drink, so we had one each. After waiting at the bar for 10 minutes and finishing our drinks already, we overheard the owners telling other staff members ‘as soon as they put their drink down give them the bill and get them out’. Meanwhile several groups walked in after us and had been seated immediately. So I asked the bar attendant whether our table was ready as it was now 7.45pm and we had yet to be seated or acknowledged. Upon asking, I received the response of ‘oh we are just really busy at the moment and your table isn’t ready yet.’ I stated that our booking was at 7.15pm and asked where our table was. Their response was ‘There is nothing we can do, we are busy and also you came late so you can wait, but you know, there is a table over there. You could sit there if you want.’ I was confused as I had seen the available table upon entry but it was not offered to us until 30 minutes after waiting. My partner and I felt uncomfortable with the staff members attitudes so we decided to just pay for our two lemon lime and bitters and leave. When we went to pay the owner acted as if we were uncalled for and was very dismissive as if we had wasted their time ???? Went two doors down, was seated in seconds
“Chef was not happy with the quality of the steak meat” - not sure why you would serve steak that you rnt happy with in the first place. Thankfully we were hungry and too bothered to complain but required 3 different steak knife to cut the steak - still couldnt eat some parts - not over cooked but just poor quality meat :) vege was cold too! :)) But pasta was good! ????????
WOW Definitely 10/10 We came over from Geelong and have been to many Italian restaurants in Geelong, Melbourne, around Australia and also Italy 8 years ago and I have to say this place is definitely up there with the best of them. It was by absolute chance that we stumbled upon this place, funny enough after not being able to go to several other places which we first were wanting to go to and oh boy, so glad we found Parisi's as it was amazing. Menu was great with heaps of variety and too many different things we would have loved to try and heaps of gluten free options. They didn't have a kids menu as such but were more than happy to make special meals for the kids at well reduced prices from what the rest of the meals was. The kids meals and our entree came out super fast. All the meals were just beautiful with so much flavor. Service was great, everyone had a smile on their face and was more than happy to go out of their way to help out. Unfortunately we are limited on time this holiday, but if I ever come back to Adelaide I will definitely make the effort to head out here so I can have another delicious meal again.
Consistent solid traditional Italian food without any fuss. Service was wonderful. We ordered Cavatelli D’Agnello, a pasta with lamb which was delicious. Lamb was soft and not gamey. Sauce was perfect but the star was the pasta. Chewy but not rubbery. We ordered the Bologna pizza which was a nice flavorful combination. My friend ordered the fish of the day such turned out really well made and i dint usually eat fish. Flaky and moist inside with a crispy texture outside and the lemon flavor was a perfect touch to it. Would definitely come back to try other dishes. The menu items looked very tempting and if they're as well made as this, it's definitely worth the trip!
