Food was a gastronomical delight and I don't say this lightly. Ordered seafood tom yum, Beef thai Green Curry & stir fried pork belly w/ veg ???? for two and the portions are generous. Thai milk tea is worth a shout. Food service was on a slower side but worth the while.
Why is this place not packed? Had dinner at 8pm this Saturday and only one table was occupied. Service was super-friendly and accommodating, place is clean, brightly-lit and cozy, and what's best, you don't leave the restaurant smelling like food. And have I mentioned the food was great? Very flavourful, generous, and not oily. I believe I ate more than I should have but somehow didn't feel bloated. We had tom yum soup, chicken pad see eew, prawn pad thai, stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts and stir-fried crispy pork belly among others. Definitely coming back.
I really like this place. The service is good, the waiter explained everything and really reactive. My green curry was delicious. We went on a Sunday evening and it was quiet so perfect for us. I recommend it. Thank you, we will come back.
Dined with four friends from Glenelg last night. It was the second time we had dined at this hidden gem just around the corner off King William Road in Hyde Park and we were all blown away with the quality of our dishes. All of our friends loved their variety of choices and said that they would be coming back in the future. The owner, Chris, is so friendly and attending and I believe it was his wife or partner; was the chef. What a team!! This is the best Thai restaurant that I have ever been to and I have travelled the world extensively. To think that it is in my own backyard and only a 5 minute walk from my home. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves beautiful food at a reasonable price.
